I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. From start to finish, Prince Akeem was easy to work with, responsive, communicative and understood my musical needs. He knew how to curate the right vibe for all the events I needed him for, he DJ’d 4 events for me that were all a part of my wedding. He made my special day all the more special and my guests loved him! I told him he’s our family’s DJ now 😊

First let me say this review is sooooo long overdue. Our wedding was on July 3, 2021, and when I think back on that day I can truly say, our wedding was just simply amazing!! I also remember being very stressed about a million things leading to our wedding day, but one area that I had no worries in was with our DJ. Choosing DJ Prince Akeem was honestly one of the best decisions we made!
DJ Prince Akeem!!!! Where should I even start?! He was beyond top notch and an absolute professional in his craft!!! The process for booking his service was very simple but detailed. He communicated wonderfully throughout the entire process. Akeem was great to work with from start to finish.
Akeem took the time to make sure we had music that truly reflected our personal style. The music flowed so well through the night. Everyone had such a great time. Akeem had my entire family on the dance floor. When I say my entire family, I mean everyone, even our family members who don’t dance!!!! We had so much fun, it was such an amazing night!
Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! Our wedding reception was everything we hoped for and largely because of Akeem’s emcee skills and the music! If you are looking for an awesome wedding DJ, I HIGHLY recommend DJ Prince Akeem! I promise, You will not be disappointed!!!

I used DJ Prince Akeem for a birthday party and he was an amazing host and DJ! He was quick to respond during the planning process and was very professional. The day of the event he showed up and set up timely. He had the party rocking all night and literally we never left the dance floor. Our guests literally begged him not to stop spinning when the event was over…lol! Awesome experience and will definitely be using him again!

First let me say that if you haven't experienced a DJ Prince Akeem event, you haven't being you're life right. I've lost count of how many weddings and parties that I have attended that he's DJ'd for. He just knows how to rock a party. Unlike most DJs, he knows how to read the room. He follows the energy of the crowd and keeps us moving. He plays an erray of songs from different genres and times in history, so his musical catalog is extensive. If you're looking for a professional DJ who will set up on time, provide you a professional experience, and leave your guests cheering and sweating on the dance floor, he's definitely the one.

I cannot possibly put into words how happy we were that we chose DJ Prince Akeem for my 50th birthday party. Every time I thought I’d take a break from the dance floor he reeled me back in with the next song. He knows how to keep the party going and was so gracious to allow us to extend the time because he was SO GOOD we didn’t want to stop dancing. Days later people are still talking about how good our DJ was. Prince Akeem is a whole vibe. He is worth every penny and then some. I will never hire another DJ. If he’s not available for the event date then the event date will just need to be changed. He’s just that good.

DJ Prince Akeem always knows how to keep the party going. He was the prefect wedding Dj. He knew exactly when to keep the music nice and mellow (while we were eating) and when it was time to turn things up a bit. He played a variety of hits from old school soul, to hip hop, to Afrobeats and reggae. I really enjoyed his presence at the wedding.

You can't go wrong with DJ Prince Akeem! He is extremely professional to work with, and the quality of his work is excellent. He knows his audience and plays to the audience and ambiance. He also can command the room if needed as his emcee skills are amazing as well! I would highly recommend working with him for your event we couldn't have asked for better service and product!

DJ Prince was amazing to work with from the day I contacted him all the way up to the event. We used him for our high school homecoming. He was punctual in communication prior to the event and in setting up for the actual event. He was also very easy and low-stress to work with, fulfilling every request I made in a manner that allowed me to enjoy the event without any worries. Our school required that he played off of a set playlist, but I would've never guessed he had that restriction. He kept everybody on the dance floor all night!! And every student asked that we use the same DJ for future dances. He was very professional and respectful; after the event, he even thanked me for using him as our DJ. Highly recommend DJ Prince for any type of event!
